Looking buy a cliff rebuild carb is it for me?

Hope cliff sees this up for sale is one of your rebuild carb. It was built for 500 inch pontiac with MRI block4.35 bore  4.21 stroke 10.5 comp 87 cc Kauffman heads 305 cfm cam 236_242 112 with 15-16 vac at idle street motor car,still in great shape 2,000 miles owner said carb like fuel injected my question is if I get this would it work with my set up without a lot of changes I have pontiac 428 60 over 6x4 heads cam 224 234 112  would I need rod and jets change and be good or is it just to big it start out as 800 cfm 1977 olds carb  thanks Jim

It will work fine for what you are doing, no jet/rod changes would be needed. 

The larger engine with bigger cam should idle about as well as your engine does, so the idle system will provide plenty of fuel as well....Cliff

Thank you very much Cliff. Have your book and have rebuild a few myself but really looking forward to running one of your rebuilt carbs after hearing such good  things about them. Especially from us Pontiac guys

No problem.  Since you are getting a later model carb with APT, it will be pretty easy to dial in for what you are doing.

We also convert them to e-choke, so they work on any intake manifold, even if the exhaust cross-overs are blocked or not used.....Cliff
