cliff do you sell the plastic piece that goes over the power piston? if not can anyone tell me where to buy one. also the plastic piece to fill the void where the mc solenoid lives. thanks in advance. dean

Cliff has a new power piston retainer in white. I'm using one. VERY snug, good stuff.

That part number is for the black plastic power piston retainer, that goes in the float bowl.

cliff i called the shop and ordered a kit and the plastic bowl. but i forgot to ask her if you had the other piece im looking for (its the 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 black piece the goes over the power piston and the float anchor)the part no. i posted was taken from an old one thats broke.if you dont sell them send me in the right direction. thanks dean

Yeah Cliff, I believe that is what he is referring to. It's that black plastic insert, that goes in the fuel bowl. :)
What year carb do you have, 429bbf?

ethan its a 1982 replacement in 84 -17082298.

the funny part is they used an older casting that doesnt have the extra 5 screws . but it does have the 3 baseplate screws.bought a kit from cliff and rebuilt it. waiting to put it on. the engine blew up . it had 100 miles and put a rod out the oil pan.i just bought this van 1982 with 6000.original miles and it was on its second engine it had an edelbrock 1406 which was new with the engine . oh by the way the edelbrock is for sale.
